In Dnipro, the modernization of street lighting is ongoing. The replacement of outdated technologies with modern LED lights not only enhances the quality of illumination but also contributes to significant financial savings. This information was reported by "Vідомо," citing the Dnipro City Council.
Currently, the modernization efforts are taking place on Lyrnytska Street in the Dievka area. This involves a complete replacement of all components of the existing lighting network. The process includes the dismantling of old, morally outdated sodium lamps. Worn-out brackets that hold the lighting fixtures, as well as the obsolete cable line, which often causes frequent accidents and interruptions in the lighting system, are also being replaced.
In this section, 38 modern LED lights will be installed, offering significantly higher luminous efficacy and a longer lifespan compared to the outdated sodium counterparts.
Additionally, the installers are putting in galvanized brackets that are resistant to corrosion and capable of withstanding significant loads, ensuring the durability of the entire system.
