Two women share their experience of surviving a missile strike in Kryvyi Rih. (PHOTOS, VIDEO) They recount the harrowing moment they faced danger.

The residents of Kryvyi Rih are recovering after a missile strike carried out by the occupiers on January 17. Locals from the area where the explosion occurred shared their experiences with a correspondent from "Vidomo."

A local resident, Veronika, expressed her relief, stating that she and her 2-year-old child were fortunate: at the moment of the impact, they were in the corridor, which saved their lives.

"There are huge holes in the walls of my apartment from the debris. We wouldn't have survived if we had been in the rooms,” the woman said.

According to her, the child only experienced fear and is now feeling well, staying with their grandmother.

Valentina Nikolaevna, a single woman living on the third floor of a damaged apartment building and with a disability, also shared her story.

"First, there was the initial explosion, and about 30 minutes later – the second. After that, boys carried me out of the apartment because I am unable to walk. The police took my belongings and secured the apartment. Now I'm waiting for a girl who helps me from time to time. She will take me to her place for the night,” the woman recounted.

Many relatives and loved ones of the residents are gathered near the affected buildings.
