$8 million will be allocated for street sweeping in Dnipro.

The Department of Urban Development and Infrastructure of the Dnipro City Council has announced a tender for street cleaning services in the city. The expected cost of the procurement is 343 million 424 thousand hryvnias (over 8 million dollars at the current exchange rate).

According to the documentation posted on the Prozorro platform, cleaning will take place in five districts of the city: Shevchenkivskyi, Novokodak, Sobornyi, Central, and Chechelevskyi. The service area will also include the overpasses of Dnipro. This is evidenced by the tender on the Prozorro platform.

Currently, the stage of proposal submission from potential contractors is underway. Tender participants must meet a number of requirements. In particular, the bidding companies must provide documentary evidence of their right to use the necessary technologies – a patent or a license.

Special attention is given to the technical equipment of the future contractor. The winning bidder must ensure the cleaning of the area with specialized equipment in accordance with the established requirements.

The procurement is funded by the budget and includes value-added tax. This is one of the largest purchases in the field of urban development in recent times.

Additionally, earlier "Telegraph" reported that in the Odesa region, they plan to renovate a lyceum for almost 100 million. The customer of the services is the Education Department of the Fontanska Village Council in the Odesa region.
