The Ukrainian Defense Forces have completed the clearing of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region from Russian occupying troops.
This information was shared on their Telegram channel by the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState. They have updated their combat operations map. According to the analysts, the invading army of the Russian Federation has made new advances on the front:
"The enemy has advanced near Novomlynska, Dalniy, Konstantinopolskyi, as well as in Razdolne and Kurakhove."
Russian Breakthrough in Kupyansk
Recall that on November 13, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an attempt by Russian invaders to break through the Ukrainian defenses near the city.
It was stated that Ukrainian defenders repelled four waves of assaults. Some of the occupiers were dressed in uniforms resembling those of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At that time, DeepState reported that one transport vehicle was hit in the forest, while another was struck near Nekrasova Street. A dozen and a half invaders fled from it and scattered into nearby houses. Ukrainian fighters also destroyed a tank and eliminated part of the enemy landing force.
Analysts noted that Russian command sent reinforcements, but Ukrainian defenders struck them as well.
