The Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on energy facilities in Lutsk, reported the city's mayor Igor Polishchuk on his Telegram channel.
"There have been several impacts in our city. Until the air raid signal is lifted, we are not allowed to disclose the exact locations of the enemy air targets. However, there is a power outage in part of the city," Polishchuk stated.
According to the mayor of Lutsk, there are currently no casualties as a result of the attack. He also mentioned that due to the attack, electric transport in the city is not functioning.
"We are working with transport operators to maximize the deployment of buses to cover the number of passengers that the electric transport used to carry. We are connecting all our critical infrastructure - both "Lutskteplo" and "Lutskvodokanal" - to alternative sources of electricity: diesel generators and other energy sources. A decision has been made that students attending the first shift will study remotely. We are opening 'Points of Invincibility' in all schools and community centers throughout the city," Polishchuk added.
