Russian occupants in the city of Chasov Yar (Donetsk region) are trying various tactics to cross the Siverskyi Donets River, and the number of assaults is increasing.

The spokesperson for the operational-tactical group "Luhansk," Anastasia Bobovnikova, stated in an interview on "Kyiv24" that despite the cold weather, the Russians "will resume their assault actions in this direction."

According to her, the adversaries are gathering troops and weaponry. "We see that they have already amassed a very large troop grouping, and they are, unfortunately, attempting to assault; the number of assaults is increasing," said the interviewee.

Bobovnikova added that the invaders are employing various tactics in an attempt to cross the Siverskyi Donets River:

"They are trying to either climb over the river and hide, then assault from concealed, unexpected locations, or recently they attempted to assault with equipment, but nothing has worked for them."

Russians have been trying to assault Chasov Yar for a long time and are suffering significant losses. The Siverskyi Donets River flows through the city, which is dry and Ukrainian warriors use it as a fortification.

Volunteer and military expert Pavel Narozhny stated that if the enemies succeed in crossing this river and establishing themselves in Chasov Yar, our defenders will "have to retreat very far."
