On February 3, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a precision strike on the command post of one of the units of the Russian Armed Forces near the settlement of Novoivanovka. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that this command post was located in an abandoned building and was used to coordinate the offensive actions of Russian troops against Ukrainian defenders in the Kursk direction.
The General Staff emphasized that as a result of the operation, the facility sustained significant damage, leading to substantial losses among the enemy's personnel.
"Thanks to meticulously planned actions, we managed to minimize risks to the civilian population. Our goal is to eliminate all key command points and other military facilities of the enemy until the complete cessation of Russian aggression," the statement said.

As reported by UNIAN, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the "Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka" oil refinery in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation during the night of January 31.
In particular, the strike was carried out jointly by the UAV units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and other components of the Defense Forces.
The General Staff noted that this refinery ranks among the top ten largest oil refineries in Russia by design capacity and is involved in supporting the occupying army.
Additionally, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Volgograd oil refinery ("Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka") and the Astrakhan gas processing plant during the night of February 3, 2025. The Volgograd refinery processes nearly 6% of all oil in Russia, while the Astrakhan gas processing plant is one of the key energy facilities in Russia, processing 12 billion cubic meters of gas condensate annually.
