In the night of Monday, February 3, the Russian city of Volgograd was subjected to a massive drone attack.

Russians are sharing dozens of videos online showing drone flights and the operation of air defense systems. According to Russian media reports, following the explosions in several areas, power was lost, and residents of the city also faced issues with mobile connectivity.

In some videos, the moment of impact can be seen, after which a fire breaks out. A refinery belonging to Russia's second-largest oil company, "Lukoil," may have been hit.

Attacks on Russian Refineries

Ukraine systematically targets oil refining facilities within Russian territory. Recently, drone attacks on refineries and oil depots have become even more frequent.

Just last Friday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a successful strike on the “LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka” refinery, which is among the top 10 largest in Russia.
