If North Korean troops have been pulled back from the frontline, they are likely now passing on their experience to soldiers who have not fought in the Kursk region.

This opinion was expressed on the "24 Channel" by Ivan Timochko, the head of the Reserve Council of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. "This is a simple regrouping. Perhaps the remnants that are there will gain training and experience from those who survived the battles. Then, those who have survived might be sent back to North Korea to prepare the next waves of soldiers. And those who undergo some tactical training in the conditional rear of the RF will be deployed to the frontline and will await additional reinforcements," Timochko stated.

He also added that it is unwise to hope that North Korean troops will completely and permanently disappear from the frontline of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

"They will now be strengthening their forces. North Korean soldiers in the RF are not about defending Russia. It’s about forming another army of dictatorship with combat experience. Russia and the DPRK have signed and ratified comprehensive support and assistance. Now, they will be pulling someone there," Timochko added.

North Korean troops in Kursk: important news

Recently, several Western media outlets reported that RF has withdrawn North Korean troops from the frontline. In particular, The New York Times notes that they have not been seen at the line of confrontation for about two weeks.

At the same time, Colonel Alexander Kondratenko, a representative of the SSO, confirmed this information in a comment to "Ukrainian Truth." He added that a likely reason could be significant losses among the DPRK fighters.
