On Friday, January 10, several regions of Ukraine are expected to experience deterioration of weather. This warning comes from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to meteorologists, significant precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow will occur in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians.
Additionally, in the western regions, wind gusts will reach 15-20 m/s, and in the highlands of the Carpathians, they may reach 25-30 m/s.
A level I (yellow) danger has been declared in the following regions:
- Volyn;
- Rivne;
- Lviv;
- Ternopil;
- Khmelnytsky;
- Transcarpathia;
- Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Chernivtsi.
Weather forecast for Ukraine on January 10
Today in Ukraine, it will be cloudy with some clear spells.
Rain will fall in the western, northern, as well as in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions, with wet snow expected in the west of the country. Significant precipitation is anticipated in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians. The rest of the territory will remain mostly dry on January 10.
The wind will be from the south, shifting to the west at 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the western regions and 25-30 m/s in the highlands of the Carpathians.
Daytime temperatures in the western and northern regions will drop to +4°...+9°, while the rest of the territory will see +8°...+13°, and in Crimea, the thermometers will show +11°...+16°.
In Kyiv region, it will also be cloudy with some clear spells today. There will be no significant precipitation at night, but rain is expected during the day. The wind will be from the south at 7-12 m/s. In the region, temperatures will warm up to +4°...+9°, while in Kyiv, daytime temperatures will be +7°...+9°.
