Warming that has recently affected Ukraine is nearing its end. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko forecasts that temperatures will drop again by the weekend. She shared this information on her Facebook page.
Specifically, according to her forecast, today in Kyiv temperatures will be +3...+5 degrees, and on the 10th, it will warm up to +7 degrees in the capital.
"However, on January 11-12, Saturday and Sunday, it will get colder in Ukraine," the weather expert reported.
Cold Snap in Ukraine - Forecast Until the End of the Week
Meteorologist Igor Kibalchich predicts that weather conditions in Ukraine will change before the week ends. Over the weekend, air temperatures will begin to decrease, with rain expected to transition to snow, and at times even blizzards.
In particular, on Friday, light rain is likely mainly in the western regions. Some areas may experience fog. Wind speeds will be between 5-10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between +2...+7 °C, while daytime temperatures will range from +8 to +13 °C, with Crimea expecting +14...+16 °C.
On Saturday, in the western regions, there will be rain transitioning to wet snow during the night. In some places, wet snow accumulation, blizzards, and icy conditions on the roads are possible. Throughout the day, similar weather will spread to the northern, and in some areas, southern and central regions. In the western areas, winds will strengthen to 9-14 m/s. Temperatures here will drop to -1...+4 °C, while in the rest of the country, nighttime temperatures will be +2...+7 °C, and daytime temperatures will be +6...+11 °C. In Crimea, temperatures may reach +12...+17 °C.
From Saturday night to Sunday, rain with wet snow will cover the southern, central, and northern regions. During the day, precipitation is expected mainly in the northeast. Fog is anticipated in some areas. Wind speeds will decrease to 3-8 m/s. In the west and north, nighttime temperatures will be -4...+1 °C, while daytime temperatures will be -1...+4 °C. In the rest of the country, nighttime temperatures will be +2...+7 °C, and daytime temperatures will be +3...+8 °C. In Crimea and the Sea of Azov region, warm weather may persist up to +10 °C.
