During the Russian missile attack on Ukraine, 12 hits were recorded, primarily targeting the country's fuel and energy sector.

The command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that electrical substations in various regions came under assault from the occupiers. The air defense managed to intercept nearly 90% of the "Kalibr" and X-101 cruise missiles, as well as three guided aerial missiles and 35 drones. Additionally, over 60 unmanned aerial vehicles were lost locally.

The military notes that during the recent attacks, the Russians are employing a large number of missiles and drones. In some areas, their numbers exceed those of Ukrainian defense systems:

"The enemy is utilizing modern aerial attack means and is continuously improving them. This includes firing thermal and radar traps, as well as using electronic warfare protection systems installed directly on the missiles."

The Air Forces explain that this significantly complicates the operation of Soviet-era surface-to-air missile systems. Western systems are insufficient to cover hundreds of critical infrastructure sites.

Moreover, the Russian invaders take into account the meteorological conditions that affect the operation of mobile fire groups and fighter aviation. During this attack, many regions experienced dense fog and cloud cover.
