In Nikopol, the first phase of the reconstruction of the Alley of Honorary Burials has been completed.

The first phase of the reconstruction of the Alley of Honorary Burials for the fallen defenders of the war has been completed in Nikopol. Approximately 17 million hryvnias were spent on all the work from the city budget. This was reported by the city mayor, Alexander Sayuk, during his press conference, as conveyed by "Vidomo".

"We have completed the first phase of the reconstruction of the Alley of Honorary Burials. The work has been done 100%. This Alley was built entirely with the agreement of the families of the fallen defenders," said the mayor.

It is noted that all the wishes of the relatives of the fallen Heroes were taken into account during the reconstruction of the Alley. Approximately 17 million hryvnias were spent on all the work from the city budget.

This year, the reconstruction of the second phase of the Alley of Honorary Burials will continue. All work will also be funded from the city budget. According to Alexander Sayuk, if Heroes are buried outside the Alley of Honorary Burials, the city authorities will fully restore their monuments at city expense.
