Recently, a call was received at the emergency medical assistance and disaster medicine center regarding a patient in Marganets with heart issues. However, upon arrival, the medical team encountered an unpleasant surprise: in addition to the woman in need of medical help, there was an aggressive, intoxicated man in the house. This was reported by "Vydomo," citing a post from doctor Valentina Marchenko on Facebook.

"It became known that he called the ambulance for his wife. While the medical staff were assisting the woman, the man began to threaten them with physical violence, obstructed their work, twisted the paramedic's arms, and snatched a folder of documents from her hands. When asked to stop interfering with the medics' work, he did not respond and instead ran out of the house, locking the door behind him, where he held the emergency medical workers and the sick woman against their will. The police were called to the scene, and a report was filed regarding the man's misconduct towards the medics,” – shared Marchenko.

The doctor also noted that during this difficult period for the entire country, most emergency medical workers are women who provide assistance to people in any conditions, despite the dangers of shelling.

"However, despite this, some 'citizens' of our city believe they have the right to insult and demean the medics performing their professional duties,” – lamented the medical professional.
