In Kyiv, the movement of passenger cars and city public transport will be permitted on the Podilsky Bridge. This decision was supported by the Kyiv Defense Council.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted in Telegram that the new route also includes a passage through the new tunnel, which connects the bridge to Petar Vershigora Street towards Roman Shukhevych Avenue and the residential area of "Troieschyna".
He also indicated that the new bridge will be closed to heavy vehicles.
"Only special transport and buses of route No. 111 are allowed to use the bridge. The landscaping and development works of the adjacent area near the new tunnel will be completed by the end of the year, without hindering the movement of vehicles," the mayor summarized.
