An explosion rocked a luxury residential complex in Moscow, resulting in one fatality and several injuries. (video)

An explosion occurred in the elite residential complex "Scarlet Sails" on Aviatsionnaya Street in Moscow. As a result, one person has died and at least five others have sustained injuries.

The incident took place on February 3. According to various reports, a grenade exploded in the lobby. Police, paramedics, and dog handlers are currently working at the scene.

Currently, bomb disposal experts are inspecting the underground parking of the residential complex. They will be searching for suspicious items and vehicles that do not belong to the residents. It is believed that the perpetrator may have arrived in one of these vehicles.

Some media outlets report that the homemade explosive device or grenade was placed in the ceiling. There is also a theory that the device detonated in the elevator lobby.

Ukrainian blogger and volunteer Sergey Sternenko mentions that the deceased from the explosion may preliminarily be a traitor to Ukraine and a criminal authority from Gorlovka, Armen Sarkisyan.

According to Baza, one of the injured, a 44-year-old woman, has injuries to her neck and legs. She is conscious but unable to speak. A 49-year-old man was also injured and has been hospitalized at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute. Among the injured are security guards and a concierge.

Note: The "Scarlet Sails" residential complex is a premium-class Euro home. It is located in the Shchukino district on the border of Serebryany Bor and the Strogin River floodplain. The territory is fenced and under security control. Apartments in this complex range from 31 to 250 million rubles on average.
