A 58-year-old woman is being treated in a hospital in Dnipro after being injured from a bomb explosion near a school in the village of Belitskoye, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. The story of the teacher was shared on Facebook by the hospital's director, Sergey Ryzhensko, as reported by "Vydomo".
The injured woman is named Tatyana. She is a physical education teacher at the school. The horrific explosion that caused her injuries occurred right during a lesson.
"At the start of the lesson, after greeting the students, I heard a terrifying explosion. The blast knocked her off her feet, nearly taking her life.
Glass shards cut through her entire body. She is covered in blood.
The doctors did everything possible during all stages of her evacuation to Mechnikov hospital," – writes Ryzhensko.
Tatyana has a penetrating head injury, a concussion, multiple abrasions on her face, neck, torso, and limbs, a broken nose, several fractured ribs, and pneumothorax. Her body is sliced as if with a knife.
