The United States will provide Ukraine with everything necessary to "fight throughout 2025." This statement was made by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken following a meeting with foreign ministers from G7 countries in Italy.

According to Sky News, the American diplomat stated that the G7 and its partners are "committed" to ensuring that Ukraine has the funding, weaponry, and forces needed to effectively combat through 2025 or to engage in peace negotiations from a position of strength. He emphasized that the U.S. continues to increase security assistance to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities in the east.

Blinken also commented on the deployment of North Korean troops by Russia in the war against Ukraine. He noted that this development is a matter of "serious concern" for the G7.

"The reality is: Ukraine is fighting for us. It is fighting not only for itself but for us. What we have talked about from the very beginning, and the reason so many countries are involved in defending Ukraine, is that the aggression being perpetrated by Russia is not just against Ukraine and its people. It is aggression against the very principles that underpin the international system and are essential for maintaining peace and stability," emphasized the U.S. Secretary of State.
