Ukrainian defenders have successfully pushed back Russian occupiers from the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. Defense forces are maintaining control over the situation at the city's approaches.
This was reported by Nazar Voloshin, a representative of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia," during a telethon. According to him, the enemy is attempting to advance with small assault groups without deploying a large amount of armored vehicles, and then they aim to consolidate and build up their forces.
"In that direction, we have managed to stabilize the situation, and the enemy has been pushed back from the city (of Kupiansk)," he stated.
Voloshin also mentioned that any equipment and personnel the occupiers attempt to transfer across the Oskil River are immediately destroyed by firepower, including drones.
"Everything is under the control of our Defense Forces. Even if some groups manage to cross over in numbers of 8 or 10 people, only about 2-3 individuals make it to the shore. In other words, the enemy is being neutralized there as well," concluded the representative of the OSHV "Khortytsia."
