Severe burns and poisonings: a psychiatric facility in Kharkiv region caught fire, resulting in numerous injuries (photos).

A fire broke out in a psycho-neurological boarding house in the city of Yuzhnoe, Kharkiv region. As a result, there are victims who suffered burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.

This information is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region. They noted that the fire occurred on January 4 at 21:44 in a two-story building of the boarding house.

It was determined that a mattress and belongings were burning in a room on the second floor. The area of the fire was 2 square meters.

During the fire, six people were injured. One of them received 90% burns to their body, and five others suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. All the injured were hospitalized in a medical facility.

Employees of the institution and State Emergency Service staff rescued 128 people. The fire was localized at 22:10 and extinguished by 22:30.

Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated.

Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that a fire occurred in a five-story building in Odesa. As a result, an interior partition was destroyed, and walls in two adjacent apartments were damaged. It is known that a child was injured and was handed over to medical assistance personnel.
