Russians have seized two villages and made significant advances in Donbas (see map).
In Ukraine, the 1006th day of war with Russia has begun. Over the past day, on November 24, the enemy has occupied two settlements in the Donetsk region.
This is reported by analysts from DeepState. The Russians captured Katerinovka and Yurievka, and also advanced in the Donbas.
Katerinovka is a village in the Marinka urban community of the Pokrovsk district. It is one of the hottest spots on the front lines.

Yurievka is located 30 km south of the city of Pokrovsk. This village is the one that the enemy managed to capture.

There is also Russian advancement in other areas of the front, involving 9 settlements.
"Advances were made near Novomlins'k, Stel'makhivka, Velika Novosilka, Zheltoye, Zarya, Novodmitrovka, Voznesenka, Il'inka, and Kurakhovo," the report states.

What the General Staff Says
According to the General Staff, there were 198 combat clashes on the front over the past day. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo directions.
In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor conducted attacks near Novomlins'k, Kolesnykivka, Kruhlyakivka, Sen'kovo, and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders halted 11 enemy attacks, while four are still ongoing. The enemy also carried out an airstrike on Bohuslavka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 41 times in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Lucha, Lisovka, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Pustynka, and Chumatske. Our defenders repelled 32 enemy assault actions, and nine combat encounters are still ongoing.
"According to the available data at this time, enemy losses in the direction have amounted to 336 soldiers killed and wounded, as well as Ukrainian warriors destroyed two tanks, two armored personnel carriers, nine vehicles, and an artillery system of the occupiers," the report states.
In the Kurakhovo direction, the enemy made 57 attempts to break through our defenses near the settlements of Berestky, Sontsivka, Novodmitrovka, Zarya, Kurakhovo, Dal'neye, Romanivka, Yelizavetivka, and Hanivka. 50 combat encounters have concluded, while seven are still ongoing.
"Operations continue in the Kursk region. The enemy's aviation continues to destroy its own villages and towns with guided aerial bombs; Ukrainian warriors have repelled 21 enemy attacks today, and combat encounters are ongoing," the General Staff reports.
Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that the hottest and most challenging place on the front right now is the Kurakhovo area. The area of enemy advancement is very close to the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Additionally, in Kurakhovo, Russian troops captured 25% of the city and struck the thermal power station.
