Embraer E190 Disaster

As reported by UNIAN, on December 25, an aircraft of "Azerbaijan Airlines," which was on a flight from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau airport in Kazakhstan. 38 people lost their lives, while 29 others survived.

The main theory behind the disaster is that the aircraft was hit by Russian air defense systems. It was noted that passengers and crew members may have sustained shrapnel injuries while still in the air.

Azerbaijan officially stated that the passenger aircraft lost control due to the influence of Russian electronic warfare systems.
