During a rescue operation in Sudzha, Kursk region, where Russian aviation bombed a boarding school with people inside, Russians struck again initially with an aerial bomb and then launched FPV drones on fiber optics. This was reported by press officer of the temporary military command in the territory of the Russian Federation, Alexey Dmitrashkovsky, during a broadcast on Kyiv24.

The military emphasized the cynicism of Russia:

"The bomb fell close to the boarding school. This happened just when we had evacuated people… And, fortunately, no one else was harmed."

However, as he added, it was clear that the bomb was specifically aimed at destroying these individuals.

According to him, after the search for victims resumed, Russia deployed FPV drones on fiber optics.

"FPV drones fell into the boarding school’s yard like nuts, thereby hindering our ability to bring in equipment for debris removal," - the spokesperson noted.

He stated that currently, there are still people trapped under the rubble:

"We couldn’t rescue everyone because we cannot manually lift the concrete panels… Four people have died. One person is in critical condition under the debris. And I believe if we cannot get him out soon… there will be five victims."
