Fighting for Toretsk - Current Situation
Recall that on January 3, Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Yevhen Ievlev reported that the situation near Toretsk is stable. According to him, the Russians in this direction regularly shell the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and attempt to storm using small infantry groups.
"The defensive line has not moved in this direction for over two months. I think this is due to the enemy's inability to sustain such a number of offensive actions. There are four priority offensive directions for them - Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar, and Toretsk. We had to settle into more or less well-prepared quality positions, where we are managing to hold back the enemy," said Ievlev.
