The intense fighting for Toretsk in the Donetsk region continues. The infantry of the Russian occupation forces is observed on the northwestern and northern outskirts of the city, reports the monitoring project DeepState.

"Recently, there have been numerous sightings of the enemy at various points in Toretsk, particularly in the private sector on its northwestern outskirts. The main resource for the Muscovites is their infantry, which typically employs small group tactics to attempt advances into the city. There, they hide and try to survive after the active use of drones and drops from the Defense Forces, and consequently, they become entrenched in the positions they occupy," the report states.

Unfortunately, the occupiers are aided by the dense construction and, to some extent, the weather. Due to the weather conditions, it is difficult to conduct drone flights for targeting and aerial reconnaissance. Analysts note that similar situations were observed, particularly in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. There, the Russians took advantage of poor weather to carry out assaults, "even at great losses, which they are indifferent to, as they do not value human lives – they are trash."

Additionally, there is a "close contact" between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and enemy troops. Ukrainian special forces are constantly conducting clean-up operations in buildings where the invaders have taken refuge.

Currently, the RF occupation forces are conducting assault operations throughout the city. The highest concentration of fighting is in the center, the "Zabalki" microdistrict, the "Tsentralna" mine, as well as the northwestern outskirts of the city.

"It is worth highlighting the attempts of the orcs to storm in the direction of Leonidivka and Shcherbinivka. However, the attacks of these degenerates go one way, as the Defense Forces successfully multiply the orcs by zero even before they arrive. This is a case where the situation in this area is controlled and well thought out in advance. We hope it will remain so...", stated DeepState.
