The President of Russia Vladimir Putin can currently wave his "Oreshnik" only to undermine the efforts of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, following his inauguration. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, in his video address while discussing Putin's remarks in Kazakhstan.

He noted that today in Kazakhstan, Putin was "once again promoting his missiles - his readiness to kill and destroy."

"To the thousands of rockets that have already struck Ukraine, Putin evidently wants to add even more. He does not want this war to end. Moreover, Putin wants to prevent others from bringing this war to a close. Waving his 'Oreshnik' now serves only to disrupt President Trump's efforts, which will certainly come after the inauguration," Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, Putin aims to escalate the situation now so that Trump "achieves nothing and cannot end the war." The head of state added:

"Putin is the sole culprit of this war and the only one who believes in it. That is why Putin's current escalation is a pressure tactic to subsequently force the American president to accept Russia's terms. We understand all the existing threats."

New Threats from Putin

As is known, Putin previously threatened to strike "decision-making centers" in Kyiv. He indicated that the Russian Ministry of Defense and their General Staff are already "selecting targets" for the 'Oreshnik' missile in Ukraine.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to such threats. The agency pointed out that attention should be drawn to the country where the Russian dictator made such a statement, namely - Kazakhstan.

There, Putin also threatened to use "all means of destruction" if Ukraine acquires nuclear weapons. According to him, Russia "will not allow this."
