A grave robber was apprehended near Kryvyi Rih.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, law enforcement officers apprehended a 42-year-old resident of Dnipropetrovsk region for desecrating graves for personal gain, as reported by "Vydomo" citing the Dnipropetrovsk police.

According to the authorities, the man destroyed the pedestal of a tombstone and stole a metal structure. As a result of investigative actions, the man was identified and detained.

The grave robber has been informed of the suspicion under part 3 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
