Firefighters rescued an unconscious elderly woman while battling a blaze in Dnipro.

On November 25, around 8:30 PM, a fire broke out in an apartment located on Zelenaya Street in the Novokodatsky district of Dnipro, as reported by "VidoMo" citing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Emergency responders rescued an 85-year-old pensioner from the burning apartment on the first floor and handed her over to medical personnel. The injured elderly woman was taken to the hospital.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which had damaged property over an area of 16 square meters.

A total of 10 rescuers and three units of firefighting equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region were dispatched to the scene.
