A new air raid alert system is being implemented in one region: what changes can we expect?

Due to the high number of air raid alerts in the Cherkasy region, a new air danger notification system is being implemented. Now, a differentiated approach will be used for declaring alerts in the region.

This was reported by Igor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, on his Telegram page. When drones are detected, the "Air Raid Alert" signal will only sound in those areas where a potential threat has been identified or where air defense systems are operational.

Regarding missile threats, the system remains unchanged. In such cases, air raid alerts will be declared simultaneously across the entire region.

According to Igor Taburets, this innovation is being implemented as a pilot project after careful consideration of all algorithms with relevant services and military personnel. The changes aim to ensure the uninterrupted operation of enterprises, institutions, and organizations in the region, taking into account the frequency and duration of air raid alerts.

In Kyiv, by the way, public transport still does not operate during air raid alerts. This causes inconvenience.

Earlier, "Telegraf" reported that the new head of the Kyiv Military Administration promised to address transport operations during alerts in Kyiv. The official is already working on studying this issue.
