The end of the war in Ukraine serves the interests of the entire world, including the USA, stated Donald Trump's special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, during an appearance on Fox News. He also expressed hope for progress in the near future.

"I believe we have a solid, reliable plan to move forward, to start talking and working on this," he said.

Kellogg mentioned that he anticipates progress on Ukraine within the next 100 days.

"I would like to say that we are talking about months, not years. I hope that we can achieve something in the short term... I would like to determine where we stand in 100 days: either at a ceasefire stage or a lasting peace," he noted.

He emphasized that, unlike Afghanistan, where the process stretched over four years, the issue of the war in Ukraine should have a "short-term solution for both sides."

He pointed out that this is beneficial for both the United States and the entire world.

"Trump knows where to apply pressure. More importantly, he will create leverage over both the Ukrainians and the Russians," he remarked.

Trump and the war in Ukraine

Donald Trump stated that he is having "very serious" discussions with Russia about ending the war in Ukraine.

"I am ready to do everything in my power to stop this war. We are already engaged in serious negotiations. They are scheduled and ongoing. We are having very important discussions aimed at bringing this war to an end by reaching an agreement with Russia," he said.
