Russian occupiers are increasingly focusing their attention on Andreevka in the Donetsk region. Recently, a "red enclave" formed there. This information comes from the monitoring project DeepState, which tracks current developments on the front lines.

To the north of Andreevka, the Russians are pressuring the positions of the Defense Forces from Slavyanka and Petropavlovka, moving through the ravines toward the Yasenovo-Andreevka road.

"Recently, everyone could observe the 'red enclave' on the northeastern outskirts of Andreevka, which some took for an error or a glitch. In reality, this reflects the presence and entrenchment of the occupying infantry on the village's outskirts, attempting to infiltrate from various directions, even through the positions of the Defense Forces. Over time, the enemy's movements have become clearer, having paved their way from Petropavlovka and now primarily trying to enter the village from this area via the dug-in fortifications," the project notes.

Simultaneously, Russian infantry attempted to infiltrate through the village of Shevchenko via engineering and fortification structures that lie between Andreevka and Shevchenko. Footage has already surfaced online showing the Defense Forces engaging the occupiers in this area.

DeepState also added that after their initial successful attempts to penetrate Andreevka, the Russians saw an opportunity to escalate their efforts, hence sending infantry with the mission - "die, but get through."

"The Defense Forces are currently facing challenges in defending Andreevka due to a number of issues, which we hope will find solutions. Nevertheless, Ukrainian troops are making maximum efforts and are eliminating a significant number of Moscow's miscreants. Alongside this, the enemy is concentrating its efforts between Uklaki and Dachne, located south of Andreevka, which may open additional opportunities for an assault on the village," DeepState noted.

It has also become known that Ukraine is developing a powerful defense system against Russian drones. This system will integrate earlier developments from the "Atlas" company, which have already demonstrated their effectiveness on the front lines.
