War in Ukraine: News

On January 2, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in 2024, Russian invaders intended to capture Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia, but Ukraine managed to thwart these plans.

He noted that this pertains to the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the autumn and winter of 2024. "Autumn - winter 2024 is the disruption of three operations by the Russian Federation to occupy Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia. I believe that the warriors are primarily to be commended here," he added.
