If anyone still believes that artificial intelligence cannot harm humans, there is now a new reason to doubt those convictions. However, it is likely that we ourselves will be the ones to provide the "terminators" with weapons.
In any case, the first prototype powered by the well-known ChatGPT model has already been tested by enthusiasts. The corresponding video was first released on the profile of DramaAlert on the social network X, while a version with Ukrainian subtitles was shared by the telegram channel "Ооо нейромережеве".
The footage clearly shows that the system, armed with a replica of an automatic rifle using blank cartridges, obediently follows the commands of the human operator and fires according to the given instructions.
"Well done, you saved us," says the man in the video.
"I'm glad I could help," the machine replies in a cheerful voice.
Internet users did not hold back their jokes about this:
Interestingly, the idea was also appreciated by Ukrainian military personnel. One of them noted that shooting from a grenade launcher on the front line looks quite similar, except that a living person is in the role of the shooter.
As previously reported, scientists used artificial intelligence to attempt to generate a simulation of a human personality. It turns out that in order to study and replicate a personality, neural networks need just two hours of communication with the target individual.
