On February 1, Russian aviation struck a building of a former boarding school located on Lenin Street in the city of Suzha, Kursk region. The strike occurred around 18:00.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was noted that at the time of the attack, there were 86 civilians from the local population in the building, along with a National Police of Ukraine station staffed by 4 police officers.
The attack by the Russian Federation resulted in the destruction of the central part of the boarding school. As of 21:00, it was known that four people had died, and another four were severely injured. Approximately 80 civilians were unharmed. The seriously injured were evacuated to stabilization points for medical assistance and further evacuation to hospitals.
"Bombing civilians is the signature tactic of Russian criminals! Even when the civilian population consists of local residents, Russians. There is undeniable evidence and results of objective monitoring showing that the strike was carried out by Russian tactical aviation," emphasized the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Strike on the Boarding School Building in Suzha
On February 1, the RF army conducted an airstrike on Suzha, Kursk region, which is currently under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The commandant's office of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Suzha reported that more than 90 people were trapped under the rubble.
Subsequently, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of 22:00, four fatalities had been confirmed as a result of the attack. It was noted that individuals in need of additional medical assistance were being promptly evacuated to medical facilities in Ukraine.
