Earth is currently experiencing a moderate magnetic storm, which will quiet down briefly but is expected to regain strength. However, other scientists argue that there are no factors that could trigger storms during these days.
As reported by astrophysicists from the space weather research site Spaceweather, no coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are expected to cause magnetic storms on Earth in the coming days. However, this forecast could prove inaccurate if two newly formed sunspots rapidly grow and begin to produce flares.
According to the forecast by Meteoagent, which bases its predictions on satellite systems from NOAA, TESIS, and international meteorological laboratories worldwide, as of January 10, a moderate magnetic storm rated at 4 is affecting Earth. Its intensity is expected to decrease by January 11. However, on Sunday, January 12, another "orange" geomagnetic storm is forecasted.
As a reminder, earlier "Telegraph" reported that cold weather is returning to Ukraine. In some areas, temperatures are expected to drop to -11 degrees.
