The intensity of the magnetic storm that has been raging on Earth for quite some time has begun to decline. In turn, astrophysicists are predicting low solar activity for the upcoming week.
According to reports from scientists at Meteoagent, which bases its forecasts on satellite systems like NOAA, TESIS, and various international meteorological laboratories, on Tuesday, January 14, Earth will experience a moderate magnetic storm rated at 4 points. The following day, January 15, its intensity will drop to minimal solar activity at 3 points.
From January 16 to 19, no geomagnetic storms exceeding 4 points are expected.
At the same time, astrophysicists from the space weather research site Spaceweather indicate that solar activity is currently low. Occasionally, flares of class C occur on the sun. However, it is likely that this geomagnetic "calm" will persist.
"All sunspots currently facing Earth have stable magnetic fields that are unlikely to erupt", they added.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported that anomalous frosts are heading towards Ukraine. Meteorologists warn that in some areas, temperatures could drop to -25 degrees.
