Robot dog vs. drone: a video of the unmanned battle from China has gone viral online. (Watch the video)

Chinese companies have been manufacturing four-legged robots for several years. They serve various purposes. In particular, in Ukraine, robotic dogs are utilized for reconnaissance on the front lines, sometimes in conjunction with drones for maximum effectiveness.

Recently, a video went viral in the Chinese segment of social media showing a drone battling a robotic dog. The drone and the robot dog shoot fireworks at each other. At one point, the drone begins to circle around the robot dog, forcing it to maneuver in response to the new threat. The video clip shows that neither of the drones was harmed.

Meanwhile, Chinese robotic dogs are being significantly improved. Researchers tested a new enhanced robot in Antarctica, capable of carrying loads in extreme cold. The six-legged robotic dog was able to transport cargo at the Zhongshan polar research station at -40 degrees Celsius, thanks to its special "footwear."

While discussions about the future of drone warfare continue in China and improvements are made to drones for operation in emergency conditions, Ukraine has already witnessed its first battle against Russian invaders exclusively using robotic platforms.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported on a police robot in China. It has a round shape and can maintain order and even apprehend criminals.
