The average magnetic storm at level 4 on Earth is subsiding, but not for long. On Monday, October 18, it will begin again, with significant fluctuations expected throughout the week.
This is reported by Spaceweather. There is a powerful sunspot, AR3886, on the solar disk, but it has been trying to flare for over a week.
Additionally, there is a massive thread of magnetism on the Sun that spans its southern hemisphere. However, for October 17-18, scientists predict moderate and minor magnetic storms.
As stated on the Meteoagent portal, which bases its forecasts on NOAA satellite systems, TESIS, and scientific meteorological laboratories worldwide, solar activity is expected on Sunday, November 17, with a K-index of 3 (green level), corresponding to weak magnetic storms. On Monday, November 18, solar activity is anticipated with a K-index of 4 (yellow level) – indicating a moderate magnetic storm.
It is important to note that magnetic storm forecasts can change, as solar activity researchers update their data every three hours.
We remind you that next week Ukraine will be blanketed with snow. The western, northern, and central regions will be the most affected.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported that meteorologists forecast warming with no precipitation over the weekend.
