The magnetic storm is still ongoing, but another one is on the horizon. What will its intensity be?

At the beginning of the week, our planet is expected to experience "orange" and "red" days.
Магнитная буря все еще бушует, но уже на подходе новая. Какой силы она будет?

An average magnetic storm is currently affecting Earth. However, astrophysicists warn that a solar flare has occurred, leading to a coronal mass ejection (CME) being released into space. A geomagnetic storm is possible in the coming days.

The CME that left the Sun on February 15 may impact Earth's magnetic field, although there is a chance it could miss. In any case, minor geomagnetic storms of class G1 are expected on February 18 due to a close encounter, as reported by astrophysicists from the space weather research site Spaceweather.

Meanwhile, the website Meteoagent, which generates its forecasts based on NOAA satellite systems, TESIS, and scientific international meteorological laboratories worldwide, has updated its schedule for solar flares and magnetic storms. Currently, on February 17, a level 4 magnetic storm is ongoing. An "orange" storm is also forecasted for February 18.

However, no geomagnetic fluctuations are expected from February 19 to 23.

Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that some areas of Ukraine could be flooded after snowfall. This forecast was issued by the hydrometeorological center.
