A new service has been introduced in "Army+" that allows military personnel to submit an electronic report for rewards for destroyed equipment.
This was announced on social media by the Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, Ekaterina Chernogorenko. "There was a survey in the app regarding this procedure. It became the most popular among all surveys in Army+, with about 18,000 military personnel participating. We heard about the issues in the process - and decided to launch a new service for obtaining rewards. We will soon introduce a new report as an important tool for supporting and motivating our defenders," Chernogorenko said.
She added that military personnel now have the opportunity to quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy submit information about the successful completion of combat missions. It is noted that a military member can receive a reward within 72 hours from the moment the report is approved.
Rewards for Destroyed Enemy Equipment: What We Know
Previously, Sergeant Yegor Firsov from the UAV strike company reported that Ukrainian Defense Forces indeed receive payments for destroyed enemy equipment. However, he also mentioned that due to bureaucracy, this mechanism does not operate in all units.
The Ministry of Defense had previously noted that to receive a reward for destroyed equipment, a military member must confirm the fact of its destruction. Specifically, the military had to write a report, make the corresponding entry in the combat operations log. After that, the fact of the equipment's destruction had to be confirmed either by photo or video evidence, or by "adjacent units." Following this, the documents were sent to the command bodies, which were responsible for making the appropriate decisions.
