The National Police, with the assistance of "Ukrzaliznytsia," is conducting investigative actions regarding abuses by officials related to international passenger transportation. Specifically, searches, interrogations, and arrests are taking place in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
As reported by the National Police, the procedural actions are occurring within the framework of a criminal case being investigated for the abuses committed by a group of officials from "Ukrzaliznytsia" during the servicing and transportation of passengers on international routes. The actions of those involved have resulted in significant damage and the creation of an artificial shortage of tickets for the most popular routes available for free sale.
On the morning of Wednesday, December 11, operatives and investigators are carrying out investigative actions at the residences of those connected to the criminal schemes and in the office premises of the structural unit of UZ. Additionally, investigative actions will take place on international trains during their departures and arrivals.

"Ukrzaliznytsia" confirmed this information. They added that the aim of the procedural actions is to halt the activities of an organized criminal group that has been "parasitizing" on ordinary railway workers.
As reported by "Telegraph," recently on the "Kyiv-Warsaw" train, the upper bunk collapsed during the train's movement, narrowly missing injuring a passenger. "Ukrzaliznytsia" stated that all bunks in the carriages are in good condition.
