It has been reported that Oleg Makarov, a people's deputy from the "Voice" faction, has passed away at the age of 60. This was announced by the The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in an official Telegram channel.
"Our condolences on the passing of the people's deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation, Oleg Makarov. The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, its staff, and fellow deputies received the news of Oleg Makarov's death with deep sorrow. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. Eternal memory," the publication states.
Additionally, it was noted what Makarov had been engaged in over the past few years — he was a lawyer, the secretary of the VRU Committee on Legal Policy, a member of the Ethics Commission of the all-Ukrainian organization "Association of Lawyers of Ukraine," and a public figure.
The news was reacted to by people's deputy from the "Voice" party, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who noted in Telegram that Makarov was the wisest member of the faction:
"Thank you for your advice and constant support. We will all miss you very much."
Earlier, UNIAN reported that Ukrainian multimillionaire Adnan Kivan has passed away.
"The founder of KADORR Group, Adnan Kivan, has left this world, known as the largest Arab investor in Ukraine, recognized for his successful business projects, social initiatives, as well as charity and patronage," the corporation stated.
