U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will be able to strike a "good deal" for Ukraine, according to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. He also mentioned that the Trump administration will work towards a "good" and "strong" peace agreement.

"I am confident that the new administration will be able to help reach a beneficial agreement if the Ukrainians desire it," he noted, as reported by NTV.

Moreover, Blinken emphasized that Russia has failed to subjugate Ukraine "thanks to the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden" and other international partners.

Other Statements by Antony Blinken

Earlier, UNIAN reported that Biden is preparing strong positions regarding Ukraine for Trump, according to Blinken. "I don't think it makes sense for any of us to speculate on this. What makes sense is to ensure that we provide the next administration with strong positions to implement policy globally, whether regarding Ukraine or anything else," he said.

Additionally, Blinken also assessed the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. He stated that the actions of the Ukrainian military on Russian territory are very important, as they will be taken into account in any negotiations.
