The current "bussification" of men and the overreach of TCC employees are hindering recruitment and mobilization efforts in the army. This was stated by Solomiya Bobrovska, a representative of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense, and intelligence, in a comment to TSN.

"Since September, we have seen a decline in mobilization. It started to drop after August, following the summer when we reached the level of plan fulfillment set by the General Staff. Unfortunately, there has been a downward trend in the fall (...). By December, we will not meet the General Staff's plan for either this year or this month. Therefore, it is challenging, and we are, unfortunately, returning to the situation of spring 2024," Bobrovska noted.

The MP doubts that it is currently possible to radically change the approaches to mobilization. Nevertheless, she identified three measures that would be beneficial for improving the recruitment situation in the army.

"First: stop using brute physical force and exceeding authority. The 'bussification' is undermining all efforts for effective recruitment and adequate mobilization. Second: hold TCC employees accountable for violations and abuses of power. Third: local self-government bodies and OVA - we need to compel them to join," the deputy emphasized.

Mobilization in Ukraine: Latest News

As reported by UNIAN, rumors about the mobilization of women are artificially inflated, but just like men, Ukrainian women must become liable for military service. This opinion was expressed by MP Solomiya Bobrovska.

We also reported that the head of the "Come Back Alive" fund, ATO veteran Taras Chmut, believes that mobilizing 160,000 people is insufficient, as stated by the National Security and Defense Council. In his view, at least 500,000 individuals need to be recruited into the army.
