The Russian occupying forces continue to build up personnel in the area of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk in the Donetsk region for a future strike. This statement was made by the spokesperson for the operational-tactical group of troops "Luhansk," Anastasia Bobovnikova.
"Currently, we are talking about the presence of professional units, well-staffed with contract soldiers. They have the capability to bring in reserves and personnel, and unfortunately, they have a high level of staffing," she stated during a broadcast on "Suspilne".
It is noted that the occupiers currently do not have the capacity to advance on Chasiv Yar using equipment. For this, the enemy needs to establish crossings over the canal, which are hindered by active shelling. Ukrainian defenders will continue to "keep this canal under the vigilant eye of our artillery," Bobovnikova said.
As for the situation in the Toretsk direction, both the number of assaults and the nature of attacks have decreased.
"The enemy is utilizing a larger number of personnel and they are suffering significant losses. Every day we observe that the enemy loses 50-70 individuals killed and wounded," the spokesperson added.
