On the morning of Saturday, January 18, Russia attacked the center of Zaporizhzhia with ballistic missiles. As a result of the attack, there are destructions, buildings have been damaged, and people have been injured, reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

"The enemy struck the center of the regional capital. An administrative building of one of the industrial facilities has been partially destroyed. Residential houses and private vehicles have been damaged," - Fedorov reported.

Updated at 8:50. Initially, Fedorov reported that 6 people were injured, but later the National Police stated that the number of injured had risen to 8. Two more individuals are considered missing.

"One woman is in serious condition. Two other women and three men are in moderate condition. All the injured are in the hospital. Medical personnel are providing the necessary assistance," - Fedorov explained.

Russia also attacked Kyiv

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported that as a result of the enemy attack in the Shevchenkivskyi district, four people died, and three others were injured. Additionally, a water supply pipeline was damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

On January 17, Russia struck Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in four deaths and 14 injuries.
