Information regarding reports that Russians have allegedly entered Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region is false; fierce battles are ongoing as they approach the city. This was reported on Telegram by the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia."

"The operational situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains the most challenging along the line of contact. Intense fighting continues at the approaches to the agglomeration. Defense forces are resisting the enemy's attempts to leverage their numerical advantage and advance," the statement reads.

In OSUV "Khortytsia," it was noted that currently, information about the presence of Russians in Pokrovsk is circulating on social media, but it is not true.

"Through official information channels, verified and measured information about combat actions and the operational situation on each front direction is constantly being clarified and provided to inform the public. Any emotional interpretation of such information and the dissemination of messages that may in any way encourage the enemy to complicate the situation in a specific area of the front are actions that benefit the enemy," the group emphasized, urging the use of verified information, emotional restraint, and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Claims that Russians have entered Pokrovsk were made, in particular, by MP Maryana Bezuhla.

Meanwhile, analysts from DeepState report enemy advances near certain settlements in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Specifically, Russian occupiers have achieved success in Udachny, Kotlyne, and Dachne. There are also reports of enemy advances in Kharkiv, particularly in the settlements of Tykhyi and Zelenyi Hai.

War in Ukraine - News

Earlier, OSUV "Khortytsia" reported that the occupiers destroyed some positions of the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk direction. Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to prevent a deterioration in the tactical situation.

Previously, former SBU employee Ivan Stupak expressed the opinion that Russia plans to encircle Pokrovsk. This is evident from the fact that the Russian Federation is trying to cut off the main roads to the city. According to Stupak, Russia aims to compel the Ukrainian Defense Forces to withdraw from Pokrovsk independently.
