The Russians are attempting to advance in several directions within our country, particularly in the Donetsk region. The adversaries are suffering tremendous losses in both personnel and equipment. As of November 9, 2024, total Russian losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion (which commenced early on February 24, 2022) are approximately 707,540 occupiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In October, President Volodymyr Zelensky presented Ukrainians with a victory plan for the war. Specifically, the document states that our country needs to be extended an invitation to NATO. Later, the Ukrainian leader emphasized that ideas for a ceasefire without providing our country with security guarantees could lead to further occupation by the Russians.
