The National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" has announced that starting tomorrow, December 26, electricity consumption restrictions will be implemented for both residential consumers and businesses.
According to "Ukrenergo," residential consumers will experience power outages according to the following schedule: from 08:00 to 17:00 - one and a half queues of outages, and from 17:00 to 21:00 - one queue of outages.
For businesses and enterprises, the power restriction schedule will be in effect from 07:00 to 22:00.
"The reason for the temporary increase in restrictions is due to damage to energy facilities as a result of a massive missile and drone attack on December 25. Energy workers are working to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy as quickly as possible," the company stated.
"Ukrenergo" also noted that the timing and volume of restrictions throughout the day may change.
They also urged Ukrainians to consume electricity sparingly when the power is available according to the schedule.

On December 16, Ukraine updated the principles for implementing hourly outage schedules for the population. "Ukrenergo" explained that these are intended for the equitable distribution of restrictions among regions. From now on, for residential consumers, each queue of power outages will be further divided into two sub-queues: "For example, if there are many outages in one queue, the dispatcher may issue a command to disconnect 0.5 of a queue or 2.5 queues if 2 queues are insufficient."
